About Midland Park, NJ Real Estate Market

Midland Park is a small borough located in Bergen County in New Jersey state. The borough is spread over 1.58 square miles and has around 7,000 people living here as its residents. During the peak of the Boroughitis phenomenon in 1894, the borough of Midland Park was formed. Midland Park is one of the 26 boroughs created during the phenomenon happened.

During the formation of the borough of Midland Park, parts of Ridgewood Township and Franklin Township were included in 1894. However, in 1920, another part of Franklin Township got included in Midland Park for its expansion. The borough is named after the New Jersey Midland Railway, a part of the railroad passing through the borough.

Prospect Steet is one of the most prominent streets of Midland Park, where you can find several wonderfully constructed houses like Wortendyke-Demund House. This road starts from the north and extends to the south part of Midland Park, and passes through the middle part of the town, while having many parts of Bergen County real estate along its way. Sharing its borders with other municipalities of Bergen County, such as Waldwick, Ridgewood and Wyckoff, Midland Park also has Wortendyke, a township that is home to unincorporated communities, police and localities.
